Seven Friends of the SMVRR spent some time roaming about south and east of Santa Maria looking for evidence of the Pacific Coast Railway and the Santa Maria Valley Railroad right-of-ways in this area now void of tracks. We had a great time at the Amtrak station in Guadalupe today. Caboose #210 was open for viewing, great tunes by the Mud Skippers, the Guadalupe historical group had information available, and three trains went through during the 4-hour event!
